Window World KC Raises $300K+ for St. Jude

As part of the Window World Cares initiative, Window World of Kansas City helped to sponsor the 9th annual Trivia Night to raise funds for one of our favorite charities, St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital. Thanks to the generous donations of fellow owners and other businesses across the area, we were able to raise over $300,000, bringing our lifetime contribution to $1.2 million. In addition, we also had a great time! With several independent Window World owners coming together for a friendly competition, we engaged in trivia contests, silent auctions, and much more. Transcript: The event is a trivia night fundraiser where we will invite guests in tables of ten. We have a great silent auction, raffles, and live auctions to help contribute to the fundraising efforts that we have. When we first started doing this nine years ago, it raised, I think, nine thousand dollars the first night, to go to two sixty three last year, then to go to a million this year…it’s just unbelievable. It’s so incredible for such a good cause. We’re really, really grateful to the support we get from our friends and family and business partners and customers who come in the room every year and support us with the cause. We put on as fun as an event for our guests as we can, while at the same time remembering what the fundamental premise is here, and that’s to raise a lot of money to help these kids out. There’s no better cause to give to.
